The Cresthaven Cavaliers
(Our Dogs)
Our dogs all came from respectable kennels whose focus is on health, beauty and temperament. We share that focus. They have impressive pedigrees with healthy dogs, including many champions. Our dogs are seen by a board-certified cardiologist annually to have each one's heart certified against genetic disease as well as being seen by a veterinary ophthalmologist to have their eyes checked for genetic problems.
GCH Cantebury Three Dog Night CGN-Danica
Danica, who we got from respected breeder Cantebury cavaliers. This dog is such a wonderful addition to our family. Not only is she one of the most friendly, cuddly cavaliers I have ever owned she is a star in the show ring.
Judges have commented on how beautiful her movement is and love the purpose she has when she gaits. She finished her Canadian championship in only a few club shows and acquired her grand championship one short year after her first show.
Highlights of her first few years in the ring are best in sweepstakes, many best puppy in groups, a best puppy in show, and a best puppy in specialty. We have had so much fun in the ring together and just as much fun at home going on hikes, playing in the yard and cuddling together on the couch.
Caviolia's sweet Georgia Peach
Georgia has a mellow happy-go-lucky personality.
She is a happy little show dog who was #1 Cavalier King Charles puppy
in B.C. and #3 in Canada on her first birthday. Georgia has left the show ring to be a mom and has produced some beautiful litters. She is my heart dog and will retire happily on my lap.
Ch. Cresthaven's Crown Royal CGN "Rye"
Rye is our first homebred Grand Champion!
I knew the moment he was born that he would be special. Rye loves the ring and it shows with him completing his Canadian championship before he turned 1. He has been awarded many BPIG and a Best Puppy in Show. He is a pleasure to show (and although he is finished his GCH he loves it so much I occassionaly enter him. As well he is working with my son on obedience titles as well as junior obedience). In his off time Rye loves to play fetch, go to the beach and keep my lap warm, as all cavaliers do. Rye has been cleared by the cardiologist and ophthalmologist.
Cresthaven's The Show Must Go On "Margot"
Margot is a happy fun loving dog.
She's a pretty girl with a sweet expression, but she didn't love showing, that's ok we didn't push it with her. She is co-owned by a very good friend of mine who spoils her rotten. She is one of my smartest cavaliers and knows many tricks and is eager to keep learning.
GCH Northpointe Mata Hari "Girlie"
I am so grateful to have this girl in our pack from prestigious breeder Northpointe cavaliers in Pennsylvania. She has a stellar pedigree with both her sire and half brother earning the award of merit at the Westminster dog show. She is a natural in the ring and earned her Canadian GCH before she turned two. We are excited to now work on her AKC titles as well as allow her to have a litter. In addition to her accomplishmedts int he ring this girl LOVES to play, and almost always has a toy in her mouth!
She is a lot of fun to have around.
Urquhart'Amore's Enchantress at Cresthaven "Morgan la Fay"
Our nickname for Morgan is baby dog, because even though she is not a puppy anymore she is so tiny that she looks like a baby dog. She is probably the sweetest soul in our pack. She so eager to please and is up for whatever we are offering, whether it's a quiet day at home on our lap, show training, or a hike in the woods. Morgan and Girlie are best friends and could play all day, and when they are tired they snuggle right up together. I am so lucky my good friends at Urquhart'Amore cavaliers let her join our family. Morgan has been enjoying the show ring so far and especially loves to show for my junior handler son.
Bristol Von Cupcake
Sadly Bristol has crossed over the rainbow bridge.
Bristol was our first Cavalier and has a very special place in my heart. She was a petite girl weighing 13 lbs with a fine coat. She loved coming to work with me at the grooming salon, hanging out on the couch and would do anything for a belly rub. Bristol will be sorely missed.
OUR STUDS
We use quality studs from other Cavalier breeders who hold the same standards as us in health, temperament and conformation. The studs we use have stellar pedigrees with American and Canadian champions and have been screened by veterinary specialists for genetic heart and eye diseases.
